Electrician Job Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and control electrical components
- Analyze and diagnose electrical issues
- Ensure safe installation and proper installation of various electrical components and cable
- Communicate equipment or facility issues to supervisors as necessary
- Strongly adhere to all applicable safety policies and procedures
- Standing/walking up to 10 hours per day
- Bending, sitting, kneeling for extended periods of time
- Lifting up to 50lbs
- Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with National Electric Code
- Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
- Other duties as requested

Electrician Qualifications/Skills:
- Previous electrical experience
- Electrical trouble-shooting skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Basic computer literacy skills, including but not limited to:
- Accessing the internet
- Ability to problem-solve
- Desire to work with others
- Personal protective equipment provided or required

- Electrical: 1 year (Required)
- Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.
- Use of testing equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
Education, Experience & Licensing Preferences:
- Up-to-date electrician’s license.
- Electrical Contractor, master electrician or journeyman electrician certification or Department of Labor Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT) apprentice registration.
- 2-3 years residential, commercial or industrial electrical experience.
- Experience with new builds, renovations and historical restoration projects.
- Associate’s degree in electrical technology preferred but not required.
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
- Driver’s license.
Pay:
$20-$50 (compensation dependent on skill level and experience)
